Two College Scholarship Journeys

Matthew 28:19-20, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you."

We would like to share the grace of God through the testimony of Alina and Liza, two Belarusian girls who have been awarded a college scholarship from Newpath Church via the College Scholarship Fund. Both girls came to the U.S. via a program to get children out of Belarus for six weeks each summer after the Chernobyl nuclear plant disaster to provide relief from the radiation.

Pastor Robin & Cathy Phillips welcomed them into their home for seven summers. They felt led by God to give them the opportunity of a high school and college education in the U.S. With the approval of their Belarusian parents which was a monumental decision, both girls have lived with the Phillips family since 2017.

They came this far by the grace of God and the contributions of many people that have supported the College Scholarship fund. We Thank You endlessly! God has used your generosity to enable Alina to complete two years towards her degree and Liza to complete one year towards her degree.

The story is not yet over as we continue to pursue funding. As F1 Visa students the girls have to be in school or return to Belarus. We've come this far and we've got to finish! If you would like to help support the rest of their education, please go to the Donate section.

Funds can be donated via check or online via newpathchurch.com.

To contribute online, click the "DONATE ONLINE" button below which will take you to the Newpath Giving web page. Click the "GIVE ONLINE" button at the bottom of the page. Designate the funds to go to the Scholarship Fund by clicking the downward arrow to the right of the amount box where it says General. Select "College Scholarships" option.

Funds for the scholarship can also be provided via check. Write "College Scholarship Fund" in the memo line of the check. Mail the check to the address below.
